Thanksgiving Counting and Pattern Sort
(Kinder- chromebooks or lab)
Students will practice counting and sorting using digital tools.
Noun/Verb Sorting Lesson (1st grade chromebooks or lab )
Students will go through a hyperdoc to learn about nouns and verb. They will practice identifying what a noun/verb is and sorting words into the correct category. At the end of the lesson, they will be able to play a game, clicking on the nouns as they are read to them.
Thanksgiving Math and ELA (2nd Chromebooks)
Students practice math and ELA skills using a variety of digital tools.
Multiplication by 10s (3rd Chromebooks)
Students practice identifying correct and incorrect multiplication by 10 facts.
Thanksgiving Shopping (4th grade chromebooks)
Students will practice multiplication and addition skills while they "shop" for thanksgiving dinner. They are given a sheet with prices, a required shopping list, and a budget and they need to buy what they need by figuring out how much each item will cost for their group. If they finish early, they will work on a second scenario where they have extra guests coming and will need to change their plans to accommodate those extra people.
Turkey Figurative Language (5th grade chromebooks)
I will come in and talk about figurative language with your students. After learning about the different types, they will practice their skills as a group to sort the feathers to the turkey that it belongs to. This is best done on chromebooks, but will be possible to do in the computer lab as well if needed.

Thanksgiving Turkey Persuassive Writing
(6th Grades chromebooks)
Students will write a persuasive letter to the farmer from the turkey's perspective, describing why they should not eat them. After writing, they will record themselves using blabberize to animate a turkey image and make him "talk" to read the letter back to the audience.

Phases of the moon Edpuzzle
Students will watch an interactive video with questions about the moon's phases. When they finish there are a few interactive websites to practice their new knowledge on and an assessment, placing the different phases into the correct place based on the sun and earth's positions.
QR Code Addition or Multiplication practice (1-3 Chromebooks)
Students practice addition or multiplication then check their answers on using a QR code.
